The Memorial Art Process

A Cremation Artist. Richard Finbow creates beautiful and heartfelt watercolor and pen paintings to memorialize your loved ones and pets who have passed on.

First I offer a fifteen minute free consultation, we will talk about how we can honor your loved ones and pets by remembering them and the places and things that brought them joy. We will work together to determine the best possible way to honor their memory and create a beautiful keepsake.

Preserving Memories Through Art

I hold your loved ones ashes with the highest respect. I use four different paint brushes in the process and gift them to you with the finished piece. The ashes create a sandy/brown pigment and I combine them with water color paints and mediums to create rich colors. The archival watercolor paper I use is then preserved with a uv protected coating. The finished artwork is sent in a tube by first class mail, suitable for matting and framing.
